April was a rollercoaster of resistance for me, and I’m still trying to integrate the mental puzzle pieces that are somewhat scattered everywhere. I read a recent New York Times piece that articulated that a general blah mood seems to be plaguing our souls of late. It’s called “languishing.” Languishing is a sense of stagnation and emptiness. It feels as if you’re muddling through your days, looking at your life through a foggy windshield. And it might be the dominant emotion of 2021.In today’s episode, I dissect the significance of this collective state and how we can navigate this “neither here nor there” feeling to reset and reboot our consciousness and connect with our joy once more.
